I want to become a Japanese cypress a young Thujopsis 1
Going out to the big city and not fitting, I drink water
I have became an adult
 
Within their colorful lives the gathered people
As soon as their money is used up
they left like baby spiders scattering away
 
Suddenly my mother's face comes to my mind
I wonder if she will laugh at me for being unable to a Japanese cypress
 
I kept turning my back on home town thinking there is nothing there for me
However I feel that my happiness, my happiness was there all along
 
Under the Thujopsis tree were the days I made vows
Like in the days of early childhood I tried embracing that tree trunk
 
The wind blowing from the sea shakes the leaves on the mountains
My unchangeable home town has accepted me
 
My friend's voice saying 'I have always been waiting for you'
The stretched string is cut by a tearful voice
 
Even if to chase that dream now is the time to let it go
For if to live on, if I were to live on I would be able to see that dream again
 
My warm home town's sunset colored sky whisper to me

The fourteenth moon

In the day after the night of the full moon the bell crickets spend their short lives in trail of the bush clover
A pale thing glitters on your cheek
A thing that falls along
 
I love the moon of the fourteenth day
since I can still hope for it to become full tomorrow
In the end of it we will tightly embrace each other in the empty train station
 
No matter how many times it repeats its waxing and waning
we shall always be under today's moon
No matter how many times you and me will miss each other

Is this noisy summer a dream or an illusion I wonder as the wind blows on the grass
Both being tied together and the severing of life
were not to be allowed

My body draws back from the cursed sky
The waning moon and Stellar wind
 
Flowers with disheveled colors are blooming in the fields
Short lived and sad looking they cry
In this era that became corrupted I'm forced to vomit
as I go to that shining deep unknown place
 

Around the mind

Everybody has painful things that they always pretend not to see
The tomorrow mostly just looks the same as today
 
The approaching everyday life is like a boring dream at this rate I will be set adrift
I don't understand there was a moment in which I was truly happy

Inside the ever revolving time I extend my hand and grasp both shadow and light
In the end of my hesitation that started to break there is just a single thing I believe in that I must not forget
 
For some reason I felt something different in the wavering scenery of the usual wind
That day when we met by chance both of our futures entwined so that the time can keep passing
 
We shall go through the coming hardship​s
At this rate without us separating my overflowing tears shall become my nourishment
I must not stop
